Properly Installed Commercial Refrigeration Is A Grocery Store Owner’s Best Friend

When someone owns a business such as a grocery store, usually one of their main objectives is to obtain the proper commercial refrigeration unit. There are several food items that are housed in the refrigerators and freezers that are provided. The proper installation and maintenance of the appliances directly affects the amount of success a grocery store sees. That’s why it’s important to make sure everything is done properly and professionally. If a business owner decides to surpass this important fact, they could severely hurt their business. For example, imagine there are two brothers who decide to buy an old grocery store in hopes of fixing it up and revamping it. They are enthused, intelligent and creative. However, the one thing that hinders them is their obsession with saving money. They are always looking for a way to get a deal. This is not all bad, however. It’s just that usually nothing taken to the extreme yields good results. One day the brothers begin looking for the proper equipment to house all of their cold and frozen foods. Instead of going to a commercial refrigeration company, they ask around town to see if anyone knows of someone selling the appliances at a good price. They are not really concerned with who the equipment comes from as long as it’s clean, working and cheap.About a week later the elder brother gets a phone call from someone who heard about their ordeal.”Hi, I heard that you guys were looking for some commercial refrigeration for your new grocery store,” said the caller. “I know someone who can get you a great deal.”The elder brother smiles as he takes in the news.”Great, we’ve been waiting to get a call,” he said. “Let us know where you’re located and we’ll come check everything out. Are you an actual business?””Well, we’re more like what you’d call a black market wholesaler,” the guy chuckled.”Oh okay, well as long as you have a good deal we’ll come check it out,” the brother said.A few days later, the brothers stand in the middle of their new store, feeling great about everything, especially their new commercial refrigeration appliances. When opening day finally arrives, a flood of customers pour into the store. The brothers stand in the front of the store to greet people as they walk in, when suddenly someone taps one of them on the shoulder.”Excuse me sir, but I believe your freezer went out,” said the agitated customer.”Well ma’am, are you sure, because I still see all of the lights on?” asked the younger brother.”Yes, I’m very sure, just ask everyone else,” she said as she turned around and pointed to a group of customers who were headed their way to complain. They walked over to the frozen food section to check things out. What they found turned their butterflies of excitement into knots of desperation. Although the lights were still on, the freezer had in fact gone out, leaving them in jeopardy of having a huge store full of spoiled and melted food.
